a tale from the beach, a houseband and "babbling bumbling band of baboons!"

its still a busy busy week and i dont see any sign that it will be letting up soon. few friends are trying to take me to a videoke (a gawd forsakken place for me, for i will not, never sing, unless you're orlando bloom. heheh!). i told her that i cant, well, i really cant. i barely have time for myself now. too much work. too low salary. (sick, sad world) oh well, its better than being unemployed. anyway, im hounded by showcards and souvenir programs that is relentlessly trying to get the best of me. its trying to kill me!!! and to top it all up, give me someone so insecure that she thinks im trying to compete with her. naman. its tiring as it is. i dont need this.

anyway, i will not dwell on that. ive watched the fourth installment of harry potter. and surprisingly, it is way better than the first three. and to think that i love the third book, hated the fourth. it may not be perfect by-the-book, but as one of the fans said "its harry potter coming of age".
here's what i think:

• lots of "mistakes" were made : neville never gave harry the gillyweed. it was dobby.
• winky was the one accused first of using harry's wand in the triwazard tournament.
• victor krum goes on me. the more you see him the better he looks. ^_^
• i love the shower scene
• i adore the stained glass animation
• i love the weasley twins!!!! ~ "babbling bumbling band of baboons!" say it 5 times in a row!

hmm, what else what else.
i was able to unearth my cd loaded with pictures taken from our trip in puerto galera. seeing it all again makes me realized that a year had already passed since we five girls decided to take our backpacks, pool some of our hard earned money and suck up all our guts to go to galera where none of us had been to before. i cant help but be happy and sad seeing those pictures again... its only been a year and a lot has happened.

then,
• a just got back with g.
• im a free agent (no boyfriend, lots of prospect)
• ji (no boyfriend. found a stalker)
• d has no boyfriend
• l (hmm, we think she has one then)

now,
• a is planning to get hitched with g (okay, okay, no definite plans YET)
• i found my "kulit". love him. a lot.
• ji is now married with a baby!!!
• d lots of boylets
• l (we still think she has one) hehehe.

see, its only been a year and a lot has changed. about 360 degrees changes. but, i can say that im happy now. and i think its high time that we go somewhere and get even more pictures. heheheh. i know that it seems that it would be impossible for us five to get together again. we know in our heart of hearts that we would always have each other and we would remain true friends. gawd, i miss them.

and on the lighter side, i unintentionally decided to "ruin" a & g's date last monday. i tagged along like a lost puppy. hehehe. a said its cool. but i promise not to do it again.
anyway, g knew m because they are from the same industry. and was asking me how he was. told him "he's okay. locked in his box. hehehe." and from there a told g how much m loves me, that he cleans the bathroom and picks up my laundry. hehehe. its funny. its me who's working and he stays home to do that. jeez. houseband??? nah, i guess he does love me. and it gives me a warm feeling to know that what i feel is reciprocated. ^_^

and lastly, i found a friend at work. (they are all nice!!!) but this girl took me by surprise. its a good surprise. to find another girl whos not trying to suck up on people (sometimes) and who is not disillusioned that im out to compete with her. we both love clothes and shoes. and shopping and men who has cuts. basta. great to have her around when you feel like the world is out to suck your soul out. hehehe. found her in the middle of the bingo crowd who like me is bored out of my wits. hehehe. :)
